Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between cyberchondria and self-medication among students at a private university in Huancayo during 2025. The research was basic, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, a correlational level, a cross-sectional study, and an observational character. The sample consisted of 283 students. The results showed that cyberchondria was moderate in 55.83% of the participants, high in 25.80%, and low in 18.37%. Similarly, self-medication was moderate in 61.13%, high in 21.91%, and low in 16.96%. Statistical analysis using Spearman's rho coefficient revealed a weak positive correlation between the two variables (ρ=0.331; p=0.000). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between cyberchondria and self-medication among the students evaluated.
